My BFD

I wrote an article recently for Michael Schechter’s wonderful site, A Better Mess, titled BFD and GTD.

It does have some application to photography, but mostly I wrote it just to get it out of my head and in the open.

I appeared on Michael’s podcast earlier in the year (see Mikes on Mics episode 14: Clashing on Creativity) to talk about similar topics. It’s easily my favorite podcast appearance, because we all got so into the debate.

As a side note, please feel free to vote for Mikes on Mics, and episode 14 in particular, in the annual Golden Headphones Awards. We need more podcasts with real debates on intelligent subjects.
