# "My Most Important Camera Feature is How It Makes Me Feel"

This [article](http://petapixel.com/2016/05/09/important-camera-feature-makes-feel/?ref=cjchilvers.com) got all kinds of attention a few weeks ago:

> "Could the most important thing about a camera really have nothing to do with its performance or output? Could how the camera makes you feel really be more important than the pictures it takes?

> I’ve thought about this a lot these past few weeks. And I think the answer for 99.9%\* of us is a resounding YES."

This makes sense for everyone but the artist. Comfort is where art goes to die.

If you're using your camera as a form of therapy, then use whatever you feel like, but realize that pushing your creative limits and relaxing your brain are two opposite things.
