Content is king. But what is a king if there are no subjects?

The hey-look-at-me artists never get the right kind of attention, because there's too many of them of sort through. They value “eyeballs” and page views. They put the content ahead of audience.

The smart ones pick their audience first, speaking directly with them, solving their problems and making themselves indispensable.

There are very few smart ones, so it’s never too late to become one.
