I entered my dog’s guitar rig for an episode of the always-hilarious [Rate or Roast My Rig](https://www.youtube.com/c/fluff191riffsandbeards/featured?ref=cjchilvers.com).

I’m deep into the part of each fiscal quarter when I’m spending 100% of my time writing for others. So, I’ll keep this issue short on commentary.

I’ve compiled a rough draft of my book on publishing newsletters, but I haven’t had time to set up a separate announcement list for it…next issue? Also, the kind folks at Ghost have generously ported my website over to their platform to kick the tires. Expect a full report (or a full port?) in the coming weeks.

Now, let’s get on with the links.

- Is [this](https://twitter.com/manglewood/status/1501657698559049728?ref=cjchilvers.com) the best title ever for a haunted house book?
- Everyone could benefit from the kind of Post-It project management love happening [here](https://twitter.com/thedolectures/status/1501589111618035719?s=21&ref=cjchilvers.com). Someone develop a Post-It-based desk, please.
- I love the idea behind [this app](https://getrecut.com/?ref=cjchilvers.com). It auto-cuts silences from the videos you create in seconds. How long it will take bigger apps to steal the feature?

- Gumroad posted some interesting articles with tips they’ve learned for [selling digital products](https://gumroad.com/blog/digital-product-ideas?ref=cjchilvers.com). It seems they agree that most digital products still exist in the shadow of courses, even though we have a soft spot around here for books . They have tips on [books](https://gumroad.com/blog/how-to-create-and-sell-ebooks?ref=cjchilvers.com) as well.
- “Local realism is false. Non-contextual realism is false. I conclude that particles themselves don’t exist when they’re not perceived. They have no position. They’re not there. When you have no position, you’re not there. And space-time itself is not there. Space-time itself is merely a data structure.” — [Professor Donald Hoffman](https://castro.fm/episode/ZSBfCN?ref=cjchilvers.com#57:56), MIT PhD, award-winning scientist, and author on why physics has proven “The Case Against Reality”
- Adding a hand to an image [seems to work](https://tips.ariyh.com/p/-the-virtual-touch-effect?ref=cjchilvers.com) for engagement. Hmmmm…making photos more human and authentic works? Where have we heard that before?
- “Enter the URL of an article you found valuable into Twitter search and you’ll see other people who shared that article. It’s a great way to find people with similar interests to follow or connect with.” — [Josh Spector](https://twitter.com/jspector/status/1511541959139209216?s=12&t=wSwsxCdkvSbC0nGjYrNGQQ&ref=cjchilvers.com)
