# My BFD

I wrote an article recently for Michael Schechter’s wonderful site, A Better Mess, titled [BFD and GTD](http://bettermess.com/bfd-and-gtd/?ref=cjchilvers.com).

It does have some application to photography, but mostly I wrote it just to get it out of my head and in the open.

I appeared on Michael’s podcast earlier in the year (see [Mikes on Mics episode 14: Clashing on Creativity](http://www.70decibels.com/mikesonmics/2012/5/7/episode-14-clashing-on-creativity-with-cj-chilvers.html?ref=cjchilvers.com)) to talk about similar topics. It’s easily my favorite podcast appearance, because we all got so into the debate.
