# Revisiting Ulysses

Lots of writers I know and trust recommend [Ulysses](https://ulysses.app/?ref=cjchilvers.com), but I was pretty tough on it in [my giant post](https://www.cjchilvers.com/which-note-taking-app-should-i-use/) about note taking/writing apps.

Since that post, Ulysses released a big [update](https://www.macstories.net/reviews/ulysses-15-review-split-view-on-the-mac-remote-images-improved-ipad-multitasking-and-more/?ref=cjchilvers.com) addressing one of my big complaints, The Sweet Setup overhauled their [course](https://thesweetsetup.com/ulysses/?ref=14) on Ulysses (adding new videos and lessons), and those trusted writers have compiled lots of new articles on their love for the app.

OK, maybe it’s time to revisit Ulysses.

I’ve started spending more time with the app and I dove back into the [course](https://thesweetsetup.com/ulysses/?ref=14) this past week, which I recommend to anyone investing this much time and love into the (digital) place where they work.
