The Arguments Folder

My son was scrolling through my notes app recently and saw a folder with a skull and crossbones icon. He saw the fear in my eyes and asked me what was in this dark, scary folder.

Are you an over-thinker like me?

If you are, you know there are some topics that cause such rumination, that hours, days, or weeks can go by without relief from a nagging debate in your head.

That’s what lurks in that folder.

Which business model works best for X? Which app is best for Y? Which organization method is most future-proof for Z?

I know if I engage in these debates, I will be trapped. I won’t act.

Action, and lots of failure, solves over-thinking. If I ever need to know what I fear taking action on right now, it’s in the Arguments folder — dark and scary indeed.
